MGR™ Installation Guide
EXTERNAL MOUNTING OF MGR Motor Grounding Ring®
MGR Motor Grounding Ring® rings can also be externally mounted, but they must be protected from excessive contamination and dust.
Mounting by bolting is possible to:
- the end cover
- a specially prepared mount.
Drill and tap holes according to the MGR Motor Grounding Ring® ring's specific drawing.
Use a socket head cap screw with a lock washer.
STOP Do not use non-conductive thread locker.
Mounting is possible with a standard bracket or with the MGR Motor Grounding Ring® bracket.
- Standard brackets (3 or 4, depending on the ring size).
- The MGR Motor Grounding Ring® bracket is available with various mounting types.
- Special mounts are also available.

To properly install the MGR rings, secure them with screws, MGR epoxy or a mounting plate kit.
